my ex and i and a baby girl now we havent been together since i was pregnant and he wants to voluntary relinquish his rights and i don't mind he isn't involved at all in her life in anyway. how we would go about this without going to court or getting attorneys involved. is there just a fast and simple way to just sign a paper and get it over with? we live in texas.

What evidence is there that this could ever be a reality? The state grows as large as it can afford to be at any given time. The constitution isn't magic and it cannot stop a bullet. Throughout history states rise and inevitably collapse because the initiation of violence is no basis for a civil society and can't solve social problems in the long run. Perhaps libertarians should focus their efforts on a more sustainable alternative and quit begging their masters to relinquish their power because it will never happen. How can I go about finding out whether or not the giving-up-of-my-child for adoption has been finalized? I never went to court; never saw a judge and lawyers were never involved. Only thing that I did was sign papers relinquishing my rights. I went to the courthouse to get them notarized. Only paper the court would not notarize was of one that required the fathers' signature; however told me that if I could find a notary to do so, that it would be fine. I had a friend who was a notary who did this for me; but not in the presence of a judge/courtroom/any other legal witness; just my home. I never received or heard of any verification that the adoption went through. The people who have my son will not cooperate with me. It's been almost a year. If the adoption hasn't been finalized, do I still have the right to change my mind and keep my son? If anyone has any vital information on this for the state of Georgia laws, please provide resources.

My 2 year old nephew has been staying with me and my husband for 3 months now. His mother is in CA "getting her life together" and his father is in and out of jail in TX. I feel trapped in my life?

I feel trapped in my life. I have always been the good child, in everything, home, guests house, and I hate it. I play computer about 10-12 hours a day in the past year, about 3-4 times more then before. I think its called my "outlet". Where I can be the bad child, I have real friends. I recently spent a week with my mom. The rest of my family was on a camping trip and now here I was with my mom. She worked until 2 AM or so, came home, slept, got ready, and did the same thing. I did all the animals, including chickens, roosters, dogs, cats, kittens, and my own personal hamster. I took care of them all, including litter box's for the cats and constant food and water refills. My father then comes home, complains about the house, and sits on his lazy butt and watch's T.V. He then eats some pizza then claims were going to clean the house in the morning. He go's out to where my mother works claiming he's simply going to bring a light there and come back, this was at 9:30 PM. He doesn't come back until 2 AM. When he does, I have cleaned a large portion of the house. When I go upstairs to see how he liked it, he simply said "I appreciate it, but you can get up and do some more tomorrow." This was the end of the line. I was a perfect kid my entire life, he would always talk about others complimenting my behavior. Now after 14 years of being "The perfect child" he cant give me one break. He has always complained, along with my mother. I have always been yelled at, and I'm sick of it! I am a human being, and try my hardest. They call me lazy, some call me stupid, but I need my computer even more when they do that. When they yell at me for being at the computer too much, or being lazy because I'm at it too much, I need it even more. Its my outlet, and after typing this I know it is. So this past 2 evenings my puppy has watery/pudding like poops. His other poops throughout the day are normal/firm stools. However, after his evening meal his poops are watery. The diet doesn't look to bad but you have to pursue it . It will get boring because you have a lot to lose but you must keep going. The only way we put on weight is by eating, reduce that and exercise and you must lose weight. Exercise can be misleading do a lot but not necessarily hard exercise as this can mean that you have to drink and unless it's water you can be in trouble.

I posted a question a couple days ago about how my boyfriend wants to buy a house. I told him I am not comfortable buying a house with him since we are not engaged or married. Well I'm at a state of nothing. I am 39 weeks pregnant, 4 cm dilated, 80% thinned and the baby is at a 0 station. I got my membranes stripped on Tuesday at 2 pm. About the only result of that is a lot of yellow-brownish discharge with some blood mixed in every time I use the restroom. You need to add more lean protein and veggies, I don't see any veggies. Your breakfast has enough sugar to get you through the whole week. Try only consuming 15g of sugar per day... like the rice pudding, most likely has twice that amount. Calories are a part of it, but you couldn't have 1200 calories of chocolate cake everyday and lose weight, the type of food (especially amount of sugar) plays a big part of it as well. Oh, and always skip the mayo, try mustard instead.

Cervical mucus question, possibly pregnant?

Okay, did anyone else who was pregnant have a stretchy, almost elasticy type cervical mucus? I've never had it before, but I think I may have gotten pregnant about three weeks ago I had unprotected sex. (everyday between june 9 and june 16) I did get a period on the 17th that lasted through the 20th. The first and last days were just brownish white discharge, the middle two days the blood was darker and more red but could've even been old blood. I'm not sure if this counted, it came three days late and normally my periods last between 6 and 9 days and are very heavy. I'm experiencing some very light cramping, it gets worse if I excercise. I worked out yesterday and thought I would have to stop because of the alarming cramps. I have been pregnant before and had these type of cramps. I can't sleep at night. I took a test today around fivc thirty pm, and the control line was there, and then on one side of that line there were specks of ink but they didn't make a solid line like the faint positive I had with my first pregnancy. Does this mean the test was defective? It was only half a plus sign if that makes sense. like a plus with one half a line missing and it wasn't solid, it was just speckles going about halfway to the edge of the window. Has this happened to anyone before? What happened with ya'll? (maybe I'm not pregnant and it was false and my symptoms are nothing, or maybe I'm pregnant I just tested early and had dilute urine and the positive was extra faint) What do you think? I really need some advice?

I'm 16 (going on 17) an I will be a senior in high school in the fall. The problem is that I am starting to lose all of my motivation. It started during my junior year. I had always been a procrastinator but it would get to the point where I would start my homework around 11-11:30 PM. I was in a couple of AP classes and still finished the year with A's, but I'm afraid that I will fare much worse senior year and in college. I do not think that intelligence is the issue. you know something dear. i don,t mind voting, i really don,t but they all say what you want to hear until they get in then the heck with you. but if they don,t get someone who will get this country straightened out, this country will go to hell in a hand basket. they need to quit worrying about those countries and do something about our country, like get people back in their jobs so they can pay into the federal government and that will help our economy because people will start to buy stuff, like cars and houses.

Legal Question about child support and relinquishing parental rights?

Okay, this is a long story. Basically, my ex's mom had temporary custody of my son from birth. When I got on me feet and was ready to take care of my son, the grandmother fought me for custody. October 2010, I finally got primary custody of my son, but the grandmother still has standard visitation rights. (2nd and 4th weekends, holidays, summer and spring break, etc etc) Rose, the grandmother, never took perry, the father of my son, to court. Only me. So I had to pay child support the whole time as well as driving two hours one way twice a week just to see my son. I faithfully did all that for two years while fighting this custody battle. Perry, my son's father, was never taken to court and never made to pay child support. He got to see Hayden when ever he wanted, which was a lot because he lives in the same town as Rose. Well, now that I have custody, Perry told me that he does not want to go to court, pay child support, or have court ordered parental rights. Perry still gets to see Hayden, my son, whenever Rose has her visitation with Hayden...which is half the time. Well, I was going to go through the texas attorney general to get Perry to pay child support, but come to find out, with paying child support, he gets his own visitation time. (which I am fine with) My question is, when they give him a visitation schedule, will the judge take away my time or the grandmothers time? I dont know if it would be worth it to get Perry to take some responsibility if they are just going to take my time with my son away from me. How does this work. Another question I have is, I am re-married to a wonderful man. We have been married two years. Mike, my husband, is very loving towards my son. They do everything together. I changed my last name to my husbands last name. So now, my husband, my step daughter, and I have the same last name, and my son has my maiden name. I talked to a professional to see if it would be in my sons best interest to keep my last name or to change it to my married last name. She said that Hayden would feel like an outsider to my family by having a different last name than everybody else and that it would be a good idea to change his last name to my married name. Well, come to find out, in order to do the name change for my son, Perry has to agree to it or voluntarily relinquish his rights. Otherwise, I wont be able to do the name change. Perry and Rose have already told me they want Hayden to have Perrys last name. I didnt agree with that because Perry doesnt want to take any responsiblity for his son, not to mention, my son lives with me and he is my son and I want him to have whatever last name I have. (Perry wasnt even at the hospital when Hayden was born. He wanted nothing to do with him. Perry even told his mom not to take my son in and to let CPS take him, Rose did anyways, and I am very grateful for Rose taking Hayden in, despite all the trouble.) They then threatened to take me back to court and etc etc if I tried to change Haydens last name to my name. I think Perry would relinquish his rights but his mom wont let him and if he did anyways, it would create problems between them, so he wont do it. What do I do? I mean really. Perry wants to see Hayden but not take care of him. How is that fair to Hayden? How is that fair to anybody but Perry. I need help with clothes and things like that, but I dont want to have my time taken away from Hayden. Perry does not deserve to get Hayden to have his last name. Am I wrong? Any advise would help. I dont know what to do. Mike, my husband, is way more of a father than Perry is. Mike supports Hayden emotionally, financially, he provides everything for him. Please help. Questions about smoking cigs and the pill Klonopin.?

Okay, this might sound a little weird but here it goes. About a year ago I took the pill Klonopin for about 5 months. On another note, at this point in time i have smoked Cigs for about 5 years. After about 3 months on the Klons I smoked a cig and it made me gag after about 3 drags. I noticed that if i smoke on the klons I would gag. For personal reasons i got off the drug and when I did not take it anymore I did not gag from the cigs. Even when I took it, I would not gag if i were not on the pill. well here I am a year later and for the past few months, from morning till about 2 pm if I smoke I get the same gag type reflex, I never puke but still. After 1 or 2 pm, I can smoke fine. so the question is, could this still be an effect of the Klonopin a year later? I know I should not smoke and there will be alot of people that say "it means to quit" or "your killing yourself" w.e I do not care, trust me every smoker knows that they are doing obvious harm but most people that have smoked for 15 years do not even get this gag type thing. So I've been being prescribed Vicodin 5mg/325mg for about 6 months now (give or take a few). Ok, last month i started my period on the 21st and by the 24th i only had spotting. it was shorter than normal ( my periods last 6-8 days) and lighter than normal with no cramping like i usually get. I took a test around the 4th of June and it was negative. Now i'm waiting on my period ( i can go 29-32 days) but on day 29 i had cramping like i was going to start my period and it didnt show, i had some cramping yesterday in the morning but that was it. now i feel pretty normal on day 31. I am also having a problem with tapioca pudding Friday i had one and it was fine but now they taste like pepto bismol, but only to me ( i've had others try it)... Dog sick after switching food?

Hi there, hoping that someone can help me out. I just recently got a puppy (he is about 7 months old). About five days ago we started transitioning him to a new type of dog food. Almost right away we noticed that his stool was getting a little bit looser and eventually it started coming out as a more pudding texture. Two days ago now we ran out of old food and could no longer slowly transition the dog. This is when I started to notice that his stool was getting to be more watery. He had trouble sleeping last night because his stomach was so upset. I did go and buy a bag of his old food yesterday hoping that that would help, I fed him the old food for all meals. He woke me up about three or four times during the night because he was whining and one time when I got up with him after going to the bathroom he vomited. I have been feeding him pure pumpkin as well as making sure that no one feeds him scrap food. I started to notice the loose stool about 4 days ago now. I am wondering if I should be taking my pup to the vet or if I should follow other advice that I have read and withhold his food for 24hrs before feeding him bland food like rice. I have studied the American Revolution in detail so obviously I know that America did gain its freedom and due to several contributing factors. I just feel that although the Americans did put up a valiant effort against Britain, and did enjoy some military successes, they did not win their independence for themselves. In my personal opinion, the only reason they secured their independence was due to the fact that a change in politics in London garnered anti-war sentiments which forced Lord North out of office. With the entrance of France, Spain, and the Netherlands, Britain's forces and resources were stretched fighting a global war to preserve its colonial empire. I think the only reason they granted America its independence was because they could not afford to lose their other colonies in India and the Caribbean. By War's end in 1783, The british still had a large military force and the largest navy in the world. If they wanted to, in an alternate history, I do believe they could have persecuted the war for several more years and probably won it. So in essence do not think America WON its independence, rather Britain felt that it was not a critical issue worth pursuing further and relinquished it. It was foreign intervention and political strife in Parliament that brought about its end. This is purely my thought based on research I am only posting this to facilitate discussion. Ohio residency guidlines when not regarding taxes or education?

I am currently unemployed and am not yet accepted to college. None of my income is taxable so I don't even bother filing my taxes. I can't find anything on residency requirements when it has nothing to do with the IRS or a college. I have a drivers license from another state. I have been gone from Ohio for very many years. Right now I am back but I don't know for how long, I do not own a home, I do not have a job, and I am not in school. I am trying to remedy at least one of the last two but so far I have absolutely no ties to Ohio other than being born here. I have never had a driver's license in Ohio. But Ohio has had the non existent license suspended for the last 9 years and now tells me it's expired and I have no driving privelages unless I get a temporary permit. My question is why should I relinquish my perfectly valid drivers license from another state for Ohio's backwards system that keeps suspending something that doesn't exist prompting me to not make it exist. How can Ohio say I have no driving privelages on a now expired license that never existed? My drivers license from my now home state is completely valid and legal. If I have a completely legal drivers license how can another state say I can't drive there when I'm only there temporarily? I live 10 mins from Indiana. 10 mins from KY. How is it they aren't constantly pulled over and told they don't have privelages to drive here? And in case anyone needs the info, my license is from California, but there simply can not be a law that says californians can not drive in Ohio can there? Does this sound a bit ridiculous to anyone else?

so last summer i lost 16 pounds... and i was happy. well i couldnt really see a difference but oh well i went back to school and gained it all back.. thankfully i didnt gain more. but now im at the same again. and ive been trying to lose it.. and i just cant. i go on walks about 4 miles a day. i just turned 17 on tuesday. i weigh 174 lbs. and im 5'4. yuck i know... but i want my senior year to be the best. and i want to lose this healthy. what i usually eat durning the day is. cereal, slimfast, bananas, boiled eggs, 60 calorie pudding, apple, advacado, and thats about it. it depends on the day though. but last year i did so much better and i dont understand why :( please help thanks guys!!

The owner decided that if we cant buy right this moment he wanted us out and he would relinquish the house to the bank. His prerogative, but we have a lease, and he has to go to court to get possession of the house. He sent an email stating that he guesses we have to go to a month to month lease. That is what he said no Straight answer, no straight terms, just that. My lawyer's assistant says he doesn't think that counts. Doesn't THINK?? I hit my head yesterday night at around 10 pm ( now its 300 pm where I live) and experienced a brief flash of blue, followed my a minor headache and minor head pressure. I did not experience any oother hemmorrhage, stroke, or concussion other than those symptoms. Today, the headache remains, and there is still minor head pressure, but nothing else. No altered mental state, no trouble sleeping or loss of consciousness when I hit my head. I run a dragunity deck that i have modified very much towards my style, and if i were to be asked what my number one ultimate style and combo is, i would be able to say my style is to have my opponent underestimate me by just playing defensively and waiting to get dragon ravine and foolish burial. then i activate dragon ravine and use it to get dragunity legionairre in my hand. i use foolish burial to get dragunity aklys in the grave. i summon legionairre, activate his ability to equip him with aklys, use his second ability to destroy aklys and destroy a monster, which activates aklys's ability to destroy another card, which usually leaves my opponent wide open for attack. what you need to do is pick a style, THEN pick cards around that style.

Don't make the same mistake I did and realise that I had missed out on the best years of my life to an illness that I was able to fight if I chose to. Somebody with terminal cancer has no control over their illness. Someone with an eating disorder has the option to fight it and I suggest you get help today and start fighting towards a healthy and happy future. Wisdom Teeth Removed, When Can I Eat?

I had mine removed two weeks ago, yeah you can eat anything soft like ice cream, mash potatoes, mac n' cheese, drink a chocolate milkshake etc. Its possible to actually eat (Preferably if you have no pain chewing), but then you have to clean out the wisdom teeth extraction holes with something like a syringe and you'll have to clean them out anyway until they close.

Very bad pain in tailbone, all the way up to my neck.?

Someone kicked me in the tailbone really hard not to long ago, and I basically fell over. I just kept on the ground for about 5 mins, then got up, and it hurt very bad. Now I can't even lay down, sit, or stand on my back. I can feel this pain from my tailbone, to the back of my neck. And I'm twitching a lot.
