How to follow christ's commandments?

Christs commands is to love everyone. I have no enemies and have been given the strength those who have sinned against me thank my lord Jesus Christ. but I want to be more compassionate I am still a selfish person and I still have prideful ambitions I still want to make money and get a good job how can I relinquish my connection to the world so that I can truly love my brothers and sisters. Can you pray for me please ?
