Got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday!?

So I got my top wisdom teeth taken out yesterday and my dentist didnt give me stitches.. but i haven't really had a problem with them other than the pain medicine making me vomit but i have just been eating like pudding, jello, chicken noodle soup, and spaghetti.. but i was just wondering how i would know if i got food in the holes up there?
