My braces elastics hurt !!!!?

I just got my spaces taken out yesterday and the dentist gave me elastics that i have to wear all day everyday and it hurts like hell! its 4:30 in the morning here and I am up crying! Idk what i am going to do. it hurts so bad and I have for at 2 pm but i can barely talk! HELP! I already took 2 advillll!
